Our Delivery Policy

This delivery policy is offered in addition to your legal rights and is intended to help you choose your delivery date and to ensure that your balloon arrives in good time for the occasion it is intended for. It also explains what will happen if your order arrives later (or earlier) than expected. Please take the time to read and understand this Policy as it forms part of our standard Terms and Conditions. By placing an order with us you are accepting this Policy together with our Terms and Conditions.

Standard Delivery / Free Delivery: 

Getting your order delivered on time is our priority! Your order will be sent the (working) day before your preferred delivery date. Although orders are sent on a Next Day service (exc. Scottish Highlands & IOW) we recommend choosing a delivery date that is a couple of days earlier than the date of your event or special occasion, to allow for any unexpected delay in delivery,

In the event that no attempt has been made to deliver your order on or before the date you choose at Checkout (your preferred delivery date) the following will apply, provided that you have not re-arranged or rescheduled delivery at any point since dispatch, and that the delivery address is complete and accurate.

In the event of late delivery, we will: 

Where an order is delivered 1 working day after the date you picked at Checkout – investigate the delay and advise accordingly.

Where an order is delivered 2 or 3 working days after the date you picked at Checkout  – provide a credit note to the value of the delayed goods.

Where an order is delivered 4 working days or more after the date you picked at Checkout  – provide a refund to the value of the delayed goods.

We will only ever issue a refund or a credit note - not both.

Priority Delivery:

Where Priority Delivery (before 1pm) has been paid for, we will refund the full delivery charge in the event that there has been no attempt made to deliver on your chosen date (before 1pm), provided that you have not rescheduled your delivery. If delivery has not been attempted within 4 working days after the intended delivery date we will issue a refund for the products that have not been delivered plus the delivery charge, provided that you have not re-arranged or rescheduled delivery at any point since dispatch, and that the delivery address is complete and accurate.

Guaranteed Named Day Delivery:

Where Guaranteed Named Day Delivery has been paid for, we will refund the full order value UP TO A MAXIMUM OF £50 in the event that there has been no attempt made to deliver your order on (or before) your chosen date, provided that you have not not re-arranged or rescheduled delivery at any point since dispatch, and that the delivery address is complete and accurate. If there is more than one order scheduled for delivery to the same or similar address on the same day, we will only guarantee delivery for the first order placed up to a maximum of £50. We will not refund in the event that your chosen delivery date is a Monday and delivery is made or attempted on the Saturday before.

Saturday Delivery:

Where Saturday Delivery has been paid for, we will refund the full delivery charge in the event that there has been no attempt made to deliver on your chosen date, provided that you have not rescheduled your delivery. If delivery has not been attempted within 4 working days after the intended delivery date we will issue a refund for the products that have not been delivered plus the delivery charge, provided that you have not re-arranged or rescheduled delivery at any point since dispatch, and that the delivery address is complete and accurate.

In the event of late delivery, we will:

Where an order is delivered on the next working day (usually Monday) after your chosen Saturday (the date that you picked at Checkout) – after investigating the delay, refund the delivery charge you paid.

Where an order is delivered on the Tuesday or Wednesday after your chosen Saturday (the date that you picked at Checkout)   – provide a credit note to the value of the delayed goods plus the delivery charge you paid..

Where an order is delivered Thursday or anytime after this  – provide a refund to the value of the delayed goods plus the delivery charge you paid.

We will only ever issue a refund or a credit note - not both.

Important Additional Information

Your balloon(s) has a float time of around a week or so, so we recommend choosing a delivery date that is a couple of days earlier than the date of your event or special occasion, to allow for any unexpected delay in delivery, This allows additional time for re-delivery in the unlikely event that your delivery is delayed for unexpected reasons outside our control. During busy periods around Black Friday or Christmas we suggest choosing a preferred delivery date that is 3 working days before your order is needed. 

As an example: If your balloon is needed for an event on Friday, we suggest choosing the Wednesday, as your preferred delivery date (the date you select at Checkout). All available delivery dates are shown on the calendar during checkout. If delivery has been chosen for Friday and there is a delay in delivery, you can normally expect re-delivery to be the next working day, Monday. If this is the case, you may have the option to request Saturday delivery provided you contact the courier early enough.

In all cases, please ensure that the delivery address you submit on your order is complete and accurate. We can not amend the delivery address after your order has been sent nor can we provide refunds in the event of a delayed or failed delivery due to incomplete or inaccurate delivery address.

We don't recommend sending balloons to some types of address. Any order which you choose to have delivered to either a Hotel, Hospital, Restaurant, Venue, Student Accommodation or Holiday Accommodation is done entirely at your own risk. Regardless of the delivery method you choose at Checkout, we can not accept responsibility for any delay to delivery, or loss which may occur.

There may be occasions where an order arrives earlier than expected for a number of reasons. Some orders that are scheduled for delivery on Monday may at the discretion of the courier, be delivered on the Saturday before.  This is standard practice with all major couriers and we are unable to offer any refund under these circumstances. If we expect that bad weather to impact delivery of an order, we may dispatch your order earlier than planned.

Any reference to Next Day delivery refers to the next working day, Monday - Friday. Orders are dispatched Monday - Friday. We do not get collections of parcels over the weekend or on public holidays. For orders placed after 11.30am Friday, the soonest delivery date will be the following Tuesday. All available delivery dates are offered during checkout. Any order where delivery is requested the next day, that has been placed after 11.30am will be sent at the earliest opportunity which will normally be the following working day.

You can order up to 3 months in advance so please choose your preferred delivery date carefully during checkout.

In line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 we are unable to refund any personalised product in the event that you change your mind or no longer require the product. Further information can be found on the Government website: https://www.gov.uk/accepting-returns-and-giving-refunds. Your Statutory Rights are unaffected.
